Stanley Verell Jones, age 61, of Magee, passed from this life to his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on December 18, 1960, to Hilton and Alma Jones.

Born and raised in Alaska, Stanley retired from AT&T in Anchorage, Alaska in June 2012. He then moved from Alaska to Mississippi, where he married his loving wife, Jamie Jones in March 2013. He was a member of Pleasant Home Primitive Baptist Church of Mize, MS and also attended Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church of Magee, MS. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and was a very loving and caring person. Stanley enjoyed working, sports, music, his dog Bailey, and riding snow machines in Alaska. But most of all, he loved helping people, loved his church, and loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton and Alma Jones; his grandparents, Gatha and Evielee Jones and James and Erma Smith.
