Update from Jo Ann Foster:  Ok, prayer warriors. Plans changed a few hours ago. Gary was accepted to MD Anderson in Houston. We leave Sunday. All future tests and the PET scan will be done there on Monday.

As we continue to pray for our people, please add Gary Foster of Russellville, AR.  Gary and his wife Jo Ann lived in Magee for years where Gary and Jo Ann owned a local florist and later Gary worked with Tyson and Jo Ann was a teacher at Simpson Academy.    He has esophageal cancer.  Friday, June 15th,  Gary  will have a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread.  Because the tumor is so large, Gary has been put on a liquid diet which is very hard on him.  Pray for strength each day for Gary and his family.

Special prayers for Walt Prince.  Walt has a spot on his skin that will be checked for melanoma.  One of the things I always tell about Walt is that he is the only person who has ever called me “Aunt Sue!”…and I’m not his “blood” aunt…just love that boy and his family dearly.

*** Update on Walt:  Walt has an invasive malignant melanoma.  Surgery is set for Tuesday @ 10.  Walt will go to Forest General first to do a test on the lymph node.  Then another place for surgery (according to family).  We need to pray the lmph node is negative.  His melanoma is 2.1mm.  That is in between good and bad.  Bad is a 4.  Pray for this family.

Mrs. Jean Hall Smith suffered a massive heart attack Wednesday night and is on a vent according to her daughter Pat’s post on FB.  Sweet Jean…please pray
