The Simpson County School Board held two special called meetings on Tuesday, July 30,2019 at 12:00 PM to approve Human Resource matters, approve the employee handbook, contract approvals, and Salary Scale.

The employee handbook was approved.

Contracts for Region 8 and IMPACT Educational Group were approved.

IMPACT is paid for with federal money.  The program entails 18 days of social studies support and working with US History teachers and teacher feeder courses at a cost of $23,400.00

Region 8 is for the purpose of providing effective behavioral health, nursing, and crisis information services to the students of the Simpson County School District.

The salary scale includes the mandated  teacher pay raise.

Meetings were adjourned.
