The Scriptural passage for today is found in Ephesians 4:15: “Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him, Who is the Head, that is, Christ.” Oh, to be more like Him! That should be the aim of all Christians. The apostle offers these words of encouragement to the early followers of Jesus: through love, strive to grow and mature in word, thought, and deed so we all might be more like our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. What a task, but we can be more like Him if we study, pray, and seek His face. I remember so many saints of old I’ve known and how like Jesus they seemed to have become as they aged. Let’s each purpose in our hearts today to do the same. Amen!
