LAUREL, Miss. – Oct. 2, 2025 – South Central Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic is proud to announce that Tiffany Keith, MHS, PA-C, CWS, has earned the designation of Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management, one of the most highly respected credentials in the field of wound care.
The CWS certification is a rigorous distinction, requiring candidates to pass a comprehensive three-hour, 150-question board examination at a Pearson VUE testing center. According to ABWM, only 58% of providers nationwide pass the exam on their first attempt, and eligibility requires a minimum of three years of full-time clinical wound care experience.
Keith is now officially the only Certified Wound Specialist in the Laurel, Hattiesburg and Meridian areas, bringing advanced wound care expertise closer to patients in our community. Her certification underscores SCRMC’s commitment to providing the highest standard of care to patients facing complex wound challenges.
In addition to this achievement, Keith also holds a national wound care certification through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy, further demonstrating her dedication to excellence in patient care.
Keith’s commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills ensures that our patients continue to receive the most comprehensive and effective wound care available.
“I am blessed to help patients preserve not only their limbs, but their quality of life,” Keith said. “Wound care and hyperbaric medicine are more than clinical specialties to me — they are powerful tools of restoration. I specialize in advanced, limb-saving therapies that promote healing and prevent amputation. From total contact casting for diabetic foot wounds to in-clinic debridement, which removes necrotic tissue and lowers infection risk — every treatment I offer is rooted in compassion, precision and purpose.”
South Central Wound Care is committed to helping patients regain their health and their dignity by helping them heal from complex wounds.
