Each day we cross paths with those who are hurting. They may need a word of encouragement, an act of kindness, a caring smile or they may need someone to simply listen.
Sometimes the best way to encourage is just to listen….Truly listen. Stop what you are doing – don’t think about all the things you need to do – turn your focus to them and really listen! It’s as simple as that! We often miss opportunities to help someone else because we are too busy to listen!
Make it your goal today – to really focus on others and listen!
