Sheriff Donald O’Cain reports that on 04/13/2016 Sgt. John Kilpatrick with the DUI unit along with Deputies Adam Scarborough and Katherine McMillian conducted a safety check point that led to the arrest of Joshua Loftin for possession of methamphetamine. Loftin had in his possession 8.4 grams of methamphetamine, his vehicle was also seized.
The check point also led to the arrest of Dale Motes for possession of paraphernalia.
