The kids were even able to help hold Violet at the end of the program.

Mr. Vandeventer’s interest in wildlife began at the age of four with the frogs and harmless garter snakes that abounded near his childhood home. Since that time he has come to be recognized as an international expert on reptiles. His peers in academia consider him to be the foremost authority on the snakes of Mississippi. As a result of thirty years of appearing in front of audiences, Terry Vandeventer is the most widely recognized wildlife personality in Mississippi, often referred to by the public as simply “the Snake Man.”
