Miyah Smith, a tenth grade student at Mendenhall High School, is a 1st Place school wide winner and 2nd place statewide winner of the “Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom” Law Day Art Contest sponsored by the Mississippi Bar Association.  The statewide winning entries were on display in the Capitol during Law Week, May 1 through May 4.  Miyah’s entry will be featured in the Spring 2018 issue of the Mississippi Lawyer Magazine that will come out in June.
