image1(38)Mr. & Mrs. Scott Smith of Mendenhall, Mississippi, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christa Marie Smith, to Mark Anthony Herrin, son of Mr. & Mrs. Tony Herrin, of Braxton.
Christa is the granddaughter of Mr. Ronnie Decell, and the late Harriet Decell, and Mr. & Mrs. Danny Smith, all of Mendenhall. Mark is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Bern Herrin, of Braxton, Mr. Gerald Sheppard & Linda Sheppard of Raymond, the late Marilyn Shiyou, and Mr. & Mrs. Benny Shiyou, of Braxton.
The future bride is a 2010 graduate of Simpson County Academy and furthered her education at Copiah Lincoln Community College. She is employed at TrustCare Heart Clinic in Madison, MS, where she is a Phlebotomist.
The future groom is also a graduate of Simpson County Academy, class of 2011. He furthered his education at Copiah Lincoln Community College and later went through the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy and is now a Patrolman for the Pearl Police Department. He was also awarded top shot at MLEOTA!
The wedding will take place on April 16, 2016 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Mississippi. After the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Brandon, Mississippi. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
