The 74th Annual Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition will be held at the Saenger Theater in downtown Hattiesburg on July 14th and 15th.
This year, there are 42 contestants from all across the state competing for scholarships and the title of Mississippi’s Miss Hospitality. The mission of the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition is to identify a young woman between the ages of 18 to 24 to become the goodwill ambassador for economic development and tourism in the state, promoting Mississippi statewide, regionally, and on a national level.
The Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition is presented by VisitHattiesburg, the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi Development Authority, Forrest General Hospital, The University of Southern Mississippi, and the Historic Saenger Theater.

Smith County will be represented by Faith Sullivan, Smith County’s Miss Hospitality, and Natalee Johnson, Smith County’s Little Miss Hospitality. Faith will compete in areas of: 1:1 judges interview, judges panel interview, Mississippi Speech, Community Commercial Competition, and Evening Wear. During the week, contestants will have rehearsals, tours of Hattiesburg, community service projects, parties, and more! Natalee will join Faith on Friday, July 14th in Hattiesburg for the Autograph Party which will be held at Turtle Creek Mall (At Home entrance) from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM.
Natalee will also join Faith on stage during both nights of competition. Faith is the daughter of Josh and Kim Sullivan of Mize. Faith is a rising sophomore at Jones College where she is studying Ag Business and Ag Marketing. She is a member of Jones College Student Government, Jones College Livestock Show Team, and Jones College Sports Medicine Team.
Faith is also a Mize Volunteer Firefighter and she works as a phlebotomist at Magee General Hospital.
Natalee is the daughter of Jay and April Johnson of Mize. Natalee is a 4th grade student at Mize Attendance Center. Natalee enjoys drawing, painting, singing, dancing, and participating in church activities. She also enjoys spending time with her three amazing siblings.
Everyone is invited to attend a send-off reception in honor of Faith and Natalee on Saturday, July 8th at Maranatha Baptist Church. Stop in to meet them and wish them well before they leave for an exciting week at Mississippi’s Miss Hospitality Competition.
