Wednesday morning January 9, 2019, Magee Fire Department and Police responded to a small truck fire located at 3rd Ave NW, Magee, MS.

The fire was contained to the engine compartment. The owner of the vehicle was proactive and used an extinguisher to knock flames down. Fire units applied only a small amount of water to extinguish any remaining hotspots.

Magee Police Department stopped and redirected traffic to allow the fire department to work.
