Thursday’s nights premiere of “Small Town-Big Mayor” at the Malco Grandview Cinema in Madison was quite a hit!
The pilot series follows the life of Mayor John Henry Berry of D’Lo!…and all the “goings on” in small town USA.

The theater seated 300 people and almost every seat was taken. Many of the cast members and their families attended as well as supporters of the show and John Henry. Several people from Up TV (the production company) were in attendance.

From cows on the baseball field to a water line break, the “Mayor” was busy keeping his small town rocking and rolling.

“Small Town – Big Mayor” will be aired March 31st on Up TV station. If you have Direct TV the station number is 338. The station number for U-Verse is 369 or 1369 in high definition. Dish TV is 188.
MageeNews.com covered the premiere live Thursday night. (check out the video). I interviewed local “celebrities” as well as production people and other well known faces!
Thursday night was a great night for John Henry and his family…and also the city of D’Lo.
The pilot series was a three years in the making work!
The ratings on the night of March 31st will tell the story if the show becomes a series.
Thanks to Malco Grandview Cinema for allowing MageeNews.com to film on their premises. (We had to jump through some hoops due to copyright laws of all the movie posters!). What a great way to be all up in everyone’s business…take a movie camera…and watch the people scramble!
