As a seven year old child, Skyla Luckey was hit by a speeding car while riding her bike in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her road to recovery and life is a testament to the power of prayer through God.

A few weeks ago, I did a zoom interview with Skyla.  Skyla is really a Magee girl.  She lived here.  Her family is/was from  Magee.  Skyla’s grandmother is Hazel Reynolds.  Her mother is Dawn Keary.  Her aunt is Connie Keary.  Her aunt is Bobbie Kennedy…and really the list goes on and on!  We claim her as a Magee girl.

I remember when Skyla’s accident happened.  She was on every prayer list in Simpson County, the state of Mississippi and eventually the world!

I am posting a you tube link of her story!  Ya’ll it is so worth the read!  What Skyla has accomplished ….her drive…her go getter attitude has served her well.  (You will recognize several of the people in her story)

Truly, Skyla is a marvel…an answered prayer…and the poster child for the power of prayer and family.
