Local business owners Skip and Tracy Russell were chosen by the Magee Chamber of Commerce for the 2018 Outstanding Citizens Award. A secret committee from the Magee Chamber of Commerce makes the selection.
Skip is the son of Pete and Marsha Russell. Tracy is the daughter of Thomas McCoy and Pam Warren.
Skip and Tracy are graduates of Magee High School…and longtime “sweethearts.” The couple are the parents of a son, Kyle and daughter, Sidney Kate.
The Russells began their enterprise with Sonic Drive In. The couple owns the Popeye’s in Magee along with seven other stores in the state of Mississippi.
Skip and Tracy are known as silent encouragers! These two have supported the city and county through countless donations.
