Rickie Johnson of Mt Olive honored me with an invitation to speak to a group of ladies from Mt Olive First Baptist Church who are forming a ladies mission group. The soup and salad luncheon was fabulous…decorations beautiful…people delightful. I sure didn’t know what words of wisdom I could share…but I always love seeing people and of course talking!

David Ward concert pianist from First United Methodist Church in Magee entertained the group with beautiful melodies. David is one talented man! If you have not heard him play, just go to the Methodist Church! He is talented with a love and understanding of music that few possess. I interviewed David several months ago. Click here to see the interview. I am so impressed with his talents. The ladies loved hearing David!

I followed David!!!! How could anyone “follow” David. The bar was set quite high…but then I don’t play or sing only talk.

What a delightful day. The ladies were so warm and inviting. I saw old friends and made new friends. Thank you Rickie for the invitation.

As David and I left the church, we were met with fresh fallen snow! God’s beautiful world full of beautiful people. Small town living just can’t be beat!
