Just after 14:29 p.m., MHP was advised of a single vehicle traffic accident that occurred in Copiah County on highway 18. A 2017 Freightliner was traveling eastbound on Highway 18 near Dentville Road. The driver of the 2017 Freightliner semi lost control and turned over onto its side. The driver sustained non life threatening injuries from the traffic accident and was transported to Copiah medical hospital. The traffic accident is currently under investigation.
