Simpson Tournament Highlights
Simpson played Clinton Christian Academy Friday night. JV score 5-0 with Simpson losing. HS game on Friday, Clinton Christian Academy led Simpson with 2 home runs off of Simpson’s pitcher Bella Luckey. Bottom of the 7th, Simpson loaded the bases and Anna Clair Walker #11 hit a 3 run double to tie the ballgame. The game went into International overtime with Senior Morgan Griffith hitting her first Homerun to win the game 5-3.
Saturday morning, Simpson shut out Newton Academy with a score of 15-1 and shut out Canton Academy 10-2. Next game started at 5pm.
