Simpson played five games last week against Jackson Academy, Copiah Academy, Lamar Christian School, Columbia Academy, and Wayne Academy.
Jackson Academy
Simpson 22 JA 1 -Getting hits for Simpson were Kylin Chisholm with two singles and 2 RBI’s, Zy Cole a triple, a single, and a RBI, Ma’Nia Womack two triples and 5 RBI’s, Lilly Overby a single and a RBI, Sydney Kate Russell a single and a RBI, Carson Smith a single and a RBI, Hailey Roberts a RBI, Jayda Smith a RBI, Elie Stewart a RBI, and Avery Vanderford a RBI. Pitching for Simpson was Maddie Moody 2 innings with 3 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 5-0 on the season.
Copiah Academy

JV Games
Simpson defeated Jackson Academy 13-3 and lost to Copiah 8-1. Simpson will host Amite School Center on Thursday, August 13, with the JV starting at 5:00 PM and the varsity to follow. Simpson will travel to Central Hinds Academy in Raymond on Monday, August 17, with the JV starting at 3:30 PM and the varsity to follow.
Simpson hosted Hillcrest Christian School on Tuesday, August 18. Simpson will host Amite School Center Thursday, August 13, 2020 with the JV starting at 5:00 PM followed by the varsity at the Jimmy Clyde Sportsplex in Magee.
