Simpson JV and Varsity Softball girls shuts down Wayne Academy.

Simpson Jr Varsity girls takes the field against Wayne Academy.   Wayne takes an early lead against Simpson with a 5-0 lead until Simpson takes advantages of their own batting abilities tying the game at 5-5. SCA Paige Vanderford and Morgan Griffith take control of the pitching mound ending the game with a score of 6-5 giving Simpson the win.

SCA5Bailey Sartin takes the mound in the Varsity game pitching into Molly Shotts glove behind the plate.SCA6 SCA15Annie Maddox is protecting 1st base, Paige Vanderford on 2nd, Gracie Knight tightly covers Short Stop while Olivia Douglas handles 3rd base. SCA24 Simpson’s mighty outfield was on fire catching everything hit to them.  Caylee Yelverton claimed control of Left Field,SCA18 Morgan Griffith covered Center Field and Alexis Sullivan was in charge of Right Field.   With all the bases and positions covered, Bailey took control of the pitching duties that leads the team to a win of 5-0.

Simpson is under the coaching staff of Lacye Evans, Ivan Colson, and Jeff Wedgeworth.
