Presbyterian Christian School of Hattiesburg defeated the Simpson Academy Cougars in the opening game of the 2021 season.

Simpson’s defense played well.  One busted play for PSC led to the only touchdown of the game.  The offense showed signs of life, but just couldn’t string together an entire series.

The PCS defense pursed the ball well and stopped, what could of been, a couple of big plays for Simpson.

Simpson’s goal line turnover late in the game seemed to be a momentum changer.

First year Head Coach Todd Mangum continues to expect great things from his team.

Sue Note:  Coach Mangum and several of his players have tested positive for COVID-19.  No word if the Friday night game against Wayne County will be played.
