Simpson Junior Varsity Cougars played in the District Tournament on Saturday, February 9. The Tournament, hosted by East Rankin , saw the Junior Varsity girls playing in the Championship game. A hard battle was fought but the girls came up just short with a final score of Lamar 35- Simpson 31. The JV boys lost their first game, bumping them out of the tournament. The High School Cougars will be traveling to Lamar this week to play in their District Tournament, good luck Cougars and congratulations to both Junior Varsity teams on a great season.
