On Tuesday, January 8, Simpson basketball traveled to face the Hartfield Hawks. The JV girls lost with a final score of 24-16. The JV Boys, coached by Carey Crain, were also defeated by the Hawks with a final score of 59-45. The Varsity Girls, the only team that won Tuesday night, won by 17 points. Their final game score was 57-40. The Varsity Boys played a close game and came up short. The final score of their game was 48-36. The Cougars will be on the road facing Bowling Green this Friday in Franklinton, LA. Then, they will return home to face the Leake Rebels.
