The Simpson Academy basketball team has jumped another hurdle in the march to the Over-All State Championship. By defeating Canton Academy, the Cougars will
be paired against another state finalist in an 11:15 game on Wednesday in the Coliseum at Mississippi College.
Simpson boys had an outstanding pre-tournment year entering the division play offs with a 30-0 record. Following a lost to ACCS & Columbia Academy, the Cougars entered the state play-off in 4th seed…but soon pushed their way to a berth in the
Over-All State Tournament.
