Simpson boys were MAIS AAAA Div 2 runner-up at the MAIS State Meet Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Choctaw Trails in Clinton. Simpson also had 3 girls and 3 boys make All-State. Those named All-State are John Cole Giordano, Noah Overstreet, Carson Carter, Mary Margaret White, Emma Overstreet and Drew Williams.
Simpson boys XC team: Noah Overstreet, Jacob Johns, John Cole Giordano, Drew Williams, Cole Groover, Denver Carter, Caden Clayburn and Cooper Carrico.
