Valedictorian and Salutatorian from Magee, Mendenhall and Simpson County Academy traveled Wednesday, April 24, 2019 to Jones County Junior College to participate in WDAM-TV Top of the Class video and photo session.
WDAM recognizes the top 2 from each school in the surrounding viewing area.
One-minute videos will be aired on WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg Monday through Friday at 5:58 a.m., beginning May 6, for five weeks. The videos will be available for viewing along with a photo album of the event on the WDAM-TV website.
Simpson County had six seniors to participate in the event.
Top 2 from Magee are Josie Russell- Valedictorian and Cynahmon Lee- Salutatorian.
Top 2 from Mendenhall are Kennedy Hanna – Valedictorian and Brandon Walker – Salutatorian.
Top 2 from Simpson County Academy are Austin Lane – Valedictorian and Anna Kaitlyn Ashley – Salutatorian.
