JDC (Jeff Davis County) defeated the Trojans 43-29
Medenhall Tigers lost to Louisville 41-16.
Simpson Academy fought to the end defeating Leake Academy 41-39. Starting the season with 3 loses, the Cougars have matured and pushed to entering the playoffs. In the words of Head Coach Todd Mangum, “do not count the Cougars out!” Simpson has a by and will host the winners of the second round of the playoff on November 3, 2023.

Smith County power house, the Mize Bulldogs, defeated North Forrest 43-13. The Bulldogs remain unbeaten in 8-2A and 6-3 overall and will enter the playoffs.
