Saturday afternoon December 24th 2023, Tazah Amethyst Hosey was reported missing by her father after not hearing from her since Saturday afternoon. Sunday evening, shortly before 9:00pm, deputies discovered a vehicle in the road on Paul Kennedy Road just outside the city of Magee. Deputies then discovered the body of Ms. Hosey deceased in the vehicle with multiple apparent gunshot wounds. The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating this homicide. If anyone saw Tazah Hosey between Saturday December 23rd and Sunday December 24th 2023, please contact the sheriff’s office @ 601-847-2921.
