In observation of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Simpson County School District is partnering with the local chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Rho Iota Zeta, for the Eighth Annual Painting Mendenhall Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., at the Simpson County Courthouse in Mendenhall, Miss. Registration for the walk is $5 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
