Simpson County Academy Players to play in Atlanta
Sam McWilliams, Class of 2017, and
Noah Magee, Class of 2019, have been selected by the East Coast Sox to represent them at the WWBA Perfect Game Tournament in Atlanta Georgia.
Sam is an upcoming senior at Simpson. Sam has been playing baseball basically since he was old enough to hold a ball. He hopes to have a promising year. Sam recently committed verbally to Meridian Community College. Sam is the son of David and Amy McWilliams.
Noah is the son of Rex and Tootie Magee of Mount Olive. He will be a sophomore this year at Simpson. Noah also has been playing ball most of his career. Noah has already seen a lot of activity as a young player for the Cougars.
This tournament is played in front of multiple scouts, college and professional.
