Simpson Boys are Headed to the North State Championship

Simpson played a long tough game on Saturday, February 10, 2023. They played a strong Heritage team in the Semifinals. The first quarter ended with a low score and a tie (9-9). Simpson pulled through, during the second, and got a 5-point lead (21-15). Coming out of halftime, Simpson was determined to stay in the lead with a score of 29-24. The fourth quarter had fans on the edge of their seats. Heritage was not going down without a fight. The Cougars pulled through and won 37-34.

Simpson will host the championship games on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Simpson will play Magnolia Heights for the MAIS 5A North State title. This game will begin at 3:15 p.m.
