Monday morning, September 13, 2021 at approximately 8:50am, Magee Police Officers responded to 419 North-Hill Dr. in reference to a man that had been shot.

The victim was transported to Magee General Hospital by his neighbor.

The victim stated that he was lying in bed when an unknown black male entered the bedroom and shot him twice.

The man was airlifted to UMMC in Jackson for a gunshot to the right arm and right shoulder.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
