Shirley Thompson Little, 85 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, July 31, 1937, in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Ms. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, working in her garden and most of all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lloyd Little; father, Eugene Lee Thompson; mother, Ruby Elzine Gowan Thompson; and brothers, Charles Eugene Thompson, and James Wilson “J.W.” Thompson, Sr.
Survivors include her two sons, Jim Little of Magee, MS and Danny Little (Mary Nell) of Mize, MS; three grandchildren, Dustin Levi Little (Melody) of Spanish Fort, AL, Spencer Lewis Little of Jackson, MS and Alice Paige Miller (Bobby) of Magee, MS; six great-grandchildren, Meliah Brynn Little of Spanish Fort, AL, Caleb Dean Little of Spanish Fort, AL, Hannah Sofia Little of Spanish Fort, AL, Blake Ryan Miller of Magee, MS, Braylie Kate Miller of Magee, MS, and Remington Chase Miller of Magee, MS; two brothers, Fred J. Thompson (Margaret) of Magnolia, TX, and David Lewis Thompson of D’Lo, MS; one sister-in-law, Emily Thompson of Pearl, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be her Family and Friends.
In lieu of flowers, the request for donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Magee, Mississippi
