, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, in Andrews, Texas. She was born Thursday, January 14, 1943.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The burial will follow in Pinola Cemetery. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Grubbs was a member of Pinola Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all that she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Grubbs; father, Henry Barnett; mother, Lucille Watson; two sons, Michael Melton and Jim Grubbs; two sisters, Barbara Hayman and Frankie Hankins; and one brother, Skip Barnett.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Tammy Solis and husband, Simon, and Patricia Esmonde and her husband William, both of Andrews, TX; five grandchildren, Richard Jones, Jr. of Andrews, TX, Michelle Knupp of Mendenhall, MS, Michael Melton (Mandy) of Belzoni, MS, Ashley Shane Rodriguez of Nettleton, MS, and Chance Rodriguez of Minnesota; nine great- grandchildren; two sisters, Rebecca Hill (TL) of Monticello, MS and Betty Ball (Don) of Orange, TX; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ashley Shane Rodriguez, Chance Rodriguez, Gerald Taylor, Michael Melton, John Hayman, and Tate Ervin.
