Shirld Chester Hall, 72, of Mize, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, May 22, 1949.

 Graveside Services will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Sardis Baptist Church in Mt. Olive. Bro. David McCord will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

 Mr. Hall was born on May 22, 1949 to Tillman Shirld Hall and Cloyce Margaline Hall. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Hall retired from Southern Pine Electric after 44 years of service. He was a member of New Sardis Baptist Church his entire life and was currently serving as a deacon. He served in United States Air Force for four years.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirld and Cloyce Hall; brother, Ralph Hall; sister, Geneva White.

 Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Betty Sue Hall of Mize, two daughters, Donna Hall Cain, and husband, Brent of Mize, Angela Hall Craft, and husband Chris of Mize; two grandchildren, Peyton Christopher Craft and Madison McKenzie Craft both of Mize; one sister, Ineva Hutchinson, and husband Dennis of Raleigh, one brother, Shelton Hall, and wife Victoria of Mize; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

 Pallbearers will be Brent Cain, Chris Craft, Peyton Craft, Dink Hutchinson, Nathan Hall, Neal White, and Andy Jackson.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
