Shelton Ray Stewart, 84, of Mize died Saturday, October 29th at Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 31st at Colonial Chapel in Magee from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1st at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee at 11 AM.  Bro. Tony Keyes and Bro. Dan Henry III will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements (601) 849-5031.
Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his parents Walter W. Stewart and Ella McAlpin Stewart; brothers Walter W. “Oscar” Stewart, Jr. and John Winston Stewart; sisters Wilma Stewart Mason and Hazel Stewart Mason.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Sullivan Stewart; son Charles Wayne Stewart. Daughters Dianne Stewart White (Dale) and Anita Stewart Middleton (Lee); Grandchildren Troy Dale “Trey” White, III, Brittany White Brown (Keith); Lydia Middleton Windham (Tyler), Aubree Middleton, Haley Middleton, and Ranni Middleton; Great-grand child Paxton Ray Brown and a host of nieces and nephews.
