Sharon Ive Harris passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born on October 1, 1952, to James D. Mayfield and Ruby Walker Mayfield in Raleigh, MS.

Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed watching YouTube videos on her tablet and talking on the phone to her friends. She also enjoyed her cat, Little Man, who brought her joy. She adored her Lord and loved her family immensely.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Harris, her parents, and her brother, Joseph D. Mayfield.

Sharon is survived by her son, Daniel K. Harris; daughter, Bridgette L. Harris Bowman (John Rivers); brother, Thomas Mayfield; sister, Nancy L. McWilliams; grandchildren, Allison D. Harris, Brandon L Harris (Kristia), Brandy L. Graham (Mathew), Jonathan Harris, Austin McQueen; great-grandchildren, Skylar Graham, Thomas Graham, Mathew Graham Jr., Esther Graham, Eli Robertson, Kaleb Evans and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 8, 2025,  at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Waco-Fairmont Cemetery in Mize with Rev. Reggie Chisholm, Rev. Mark Ramsey, and Rev. Paul Ramsey officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
