The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 112:5: “Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.” The psalmist attests to the positive results one will receive from God when he freely shares with his fellow man and lives his life with honesty and integrity. It is easy to be stingy, to hoard, and to be self-absorbed. Sharing requires a giving, kind, and loving heart. Let us be known as one who shares with others, has a generous nature, and can say at the end of each day, “It is well with my soul.” Amen!
