The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in 1 Timothy 4:12: “Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” Christians have an awesome responsibility: we must set the example just as Jesus set the example for us, and we, in turn, are to show others how to act and live in all areas of life. We have been given a divine charge to do so and will be judged in like measure by God as to how well we carried it out. Praise be to God! Let’s be sure to set the example today by sharing love, joy, and kindness with all with whom we come in contact.
