The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Colossians 3:16: “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” Throughout biblical history, the people of God have been encouraged to meet together to worship and to lift voices in praise and thanksgiving to the Creator of all things. Then, the early Christians continued the practice, and we today are admonished to do no less. Let us approach the throne of God with reverence, boldness, and with hearts full of gratitude. Serve the Lord with gladness. Amen!
