SEPARATED
The word separated means to no longer be part of. Are you separated from Jesus? Listen today as the Holy Spirit speaks to you and says make me your choice.
Our devotion today comes from Colossians 1:21-22. And you that were some time alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works yet not hath he reconciled. In the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.
Paul says to us we were once far away from God. We were doing things our on way regardless of what the cost may be. We were an enemy to God. Everytime people started talking about salvation we ran away. All we had on our mind were doing evil to everyone including ourself.
One day we were in a house of worship and truly felt the love God has for us. We were told how Jesus gave His life on an ole rugged cross and salvation was ours just for the asking. We invited Jesus to come and live within us and our night was turned to day. All of our sins were washed away. We then found out what grace truly was.
One day very soon the coming of Christ will take place. My question to you is are you ready? If not you can be because the arms of Jesus are opened wide to welcome you home from a life filled with sin to a home in glory. Your name written down in Lambs Book of Life will be worth it all. Because of the cross true life is possible.
