The bell has rung, students have reported and school has officially began.
Seniors at Magee High School started the school year with the traditional senior parade Monday before school followed by a welcome to school pep rally in Trojan Park.
A New Era begins with Principal Dr. Tom Duncan. Duncan’s platform this year is Respectful, Responsible, and Ready.
The students and staff are ready and excited for the new school year.
During the past week, the Seniors have worked on their senior parking spot located in front of the Magee High School Auditorium. Many of the students and parents worked late into the night to complete the special parking spot. The Juniors sponsored this fundraiser as a way to earn funds for the Junior Senior Prom scheduled for the Spring. Each senior paid $25 to decorate the spot. Painting the asphalt became quite a “paint sucker” before the project was complete! If you are out and about, drive by the auditorium during non school hours and check out their “handy-work.” We’ve got some talented seniors in the 2018 class.
Here’s to a great year for all ages!
