United States Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith met with Simpson County Development Foundation and MageeNews.com Friday, October 9, 2020.

Cindy Hyde Smith
Senator Hyde-Smith said she is a mask wearer and will probably wear one well into the future!

Several members of the Foundation met at  PeoplesBank for an up-close and personal time.  Senator Hyde-Smith expressed her support for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump’s nominee for the position on the Supreme Court.  The Senator stated that she feels another relief package will be presented to both houses but questions if the package could be passed before the election.

Senator Hyde-Smith faces Mike Espy in the November 3rd election.
