“Lynn and I are heartbroken over the tragic events in Dallas. These barbaric acts of violence are unacceptable in a civilized society.
We must bridge the gap in our country of our trust in the common well-being of each of our citizens, regardless of political persuasion, ethnicity, or the simple wearing of a uniform to protect each of us.
We pray for the police officers who lost their lives in this vicious ambush.
We pray for the recovery of the police officers who were injured.
We pray for the families of these valiant members of law enforcement.
We pray for the United States of America.”
