Magee Police Make Shoplifting Arrest

On July 6, 2016 at approximately 0222 hours, the Magee Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in Magee in regards to several individuals shoplifting. Officers Will Douglas, Chris Jones, and Vance Hamilton made a traffic stop on the reported vehicle and it was occupied by seven individuals. The vehicle contained approximately $3,619.89 in stolen items from Wal-Mart.

The following individuals were arrested:

  1. Timmie White arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting, and felony shoplifting.
  2. Jamal Jordan arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting, and felony shoplifting.
  3. Keanna Gordon arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting, and felony shoplifting.
  4. Mayasia Bolton Strickland arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting and felony shoplifting.
  5. Essence Williams arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting and felony shoplifting.
  6. Marquarious Williams arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting and felony shoplifting.
  7. Fredrick Booth arrested for conspiracy to commit felony shoplifting and felony shoplifting.

All individuals will appear before Magee Municipal Court Judge Eugene Knight Friday for their initial appearance.

 

Chief Randy Crawford praised the work ethic of everyone involved in the arrest of these individuals as well as the fast response by the officers in order to make the arrest and solve this crime.
