SCTC Students Visit Kohler
Students enrolled in the Metal Fabrication and Diesel Services Technology programs at Simpson County Technical Center (SCTC) recently took a field trip to Hattiesburg to visit the manufacturing company Kohler Engines.
During the Bold Exploration Day tour, SCTC students got a first-hand look at two of Kohler’s plants for small engines and generators. They enjoyed a short presentation and question-and-answer session with Kohler leaders. They were also provided with snacks and awesome Kohler swag to take home.
Students enjoyed learning about career opportunities and preparation for success regarding manufacturing and skilled trades available at Kohler.
