SCTC METAL FABRICATION TOURS JCJC HAAS TECH PROGRAM
Metal Fabrication Instructor Kirk Sullivan’s students toured Jones County Junior College’s Precision Manufacturing and Machine Technology program. The machine lab at JCJC acts as a new Tech Center for Mississippi’s Haas Factory Outlet and is a leading producer of machining students. An H-TEC is an organization for schools that use HAAS machines for training preparing students for a bright career, and helps them make the transition into the workforce a lot easier. Students will gain hands on experience using the latest CNC technology. For an employer to hire somebody and they already know how to do most of the work they’re doing…..it’s a win-win.
