As the district-level honorees, Chapin, Durr and Brumfield will have an opportunity to contend for state-level recognitions against other parents, teachers and administrators throughout Mississippi.

“The district is very honored to have teachers, administrators and parents who go above and beyond to serve our students with excellence daily,” said Dr. Furlinda Travis, assistant superintendent of human resources and operations. “We congratulate our finalists who continue to show amazing leadership, dedication, and commitment to the students of Simpson County School District.”
