The Good News:
- Projected Health Insurance Premium increase of $65,000 was budgeted last fiscal year
- MAEP funding increased by $257,171
- AD Valorem Tax on new properties will result in additional funding
- This budget includes funding for 2 new school buses
The “Not So Good” News:
- Funding MAEP at 100% would have provided an additional $1,591,767
- Increase in the certified pay scale will cost approximately $400,000
- Student enrollment declined which could effect future funding
- The district is NOT permitted to request an increase for the required local contribution
