A long awaited need becomes a reality Thursday, September 24, 2020 when Magee High School held a ribbon cutting for the new filed house.
Members of the Simpson County School Board, Stacey Herrin, Patrice Boykin and Danny Coward, were present for the ribbon cutting.

Rev. Jim Taylor led in a word of prayer and blessed the building before the ceremony. Numerous community leaders were present and able to tour the new facility.
J H & H Architect was the designers and Barnard & Son Construction was the builders. Both companies were present for the festivities.
Football is a tradition in Simpson County and Magee players now have something to look forward to and be proud of thanks to the citizens of Simpson County.
